In June, we celebrate the St. John's Day in Catalonia. It's a traditional celebration and there are always crowds of people. On the 24th of June we celebrate the feast with bonfires, artificial fires...
Last year, eight thousand people came to see the feast in l'Estartit.

At St. John's Day, you can enjoy artificial fires, music and dancing. There are traditional Catalonia habits. Someone plays traditional music and people dance. We often eat some special Catalan food like (brunyols).

It is a brilliant and really very beautiful party! I always spend it with my friends and family in l'Estartit or in Banyoles.

MY TRIP TO MADRID

WRITING -MY TRIP TO MADRID

(We went to Madrid on the 11th of February).
We went to Barcelona and we cot to the train (AVE) that toke us to Madrid. The journey lasted three hours. We stayed in the residence of Casa Nostra School.
The first day, we visited "la Puerta Del Sol, la Plaza Cibeles, Plaza Mayor i la Puerta de Alcalá". After that we went to the residence.
The second day, in the morning we visited "el Congreso de los Diputados" and the Museum of the Prado. Next we had lunch. After lunch we went to "el Parque del Retiro i la Plaza Mayor".
They left us a free time.
In the afternoon we visited the Royal Palace and the cathedral and we took a bus to arrive to the residence.
The third day we visited "La Casa de la Moneda" and we had free time for lunch.
In the afternoon we went to the residence to take the suitcases and we finally went to the airport.
We took the airplane and it brought us to Girona.

In this survey, I asked twenty two people in my class about the sport they have played this week.
I also asked them about adventure sports.

The majority of people in my class have played sport this week. Twenty per cent have played tennis.
Nine per cent go cycling, and one people go kayaking.
Mos people have tried an adventure sport. A few people have tried climbing and five people have tried rafting. No one has trien mountain biking.

My parents bought a old castle and one day, I saw three ghosts!

I was in my bedroom when I saw them. First, I saw the woman. She was searching in my cupboard.
After that I saw the girl. She was standing nex to the window.
Then I saw the man. He was searching under my bed.
They were very sad and cried. I spoke to them, and they said that they were looking for a missing boy.
Next day, I read the news in the newspaper explaining the event of a missing child.

The ghosts died in the castle a long time ago, but her son was missing. And they searched mine every day.

Many years ago tourists produced an increase of the pollution in our beaches.
The massive arrival of the bathers to the beaches, it gad negative environmental consequences in these areas.

So what's the problem?

-Massive building on the banks of the line of the coast. Many of these constructions were realized illegally or without regulation.
-Elimination of the line of the natural dunes of sand.
-Uncontrolled spillage of waste water to the sea with the consequent microbial and chemical pollution of the water of the sea. The fecal spillages were done and in certain places still they are done, of direct form to the sea.
-Elimination of the rubbish deposited to the sea bed.
-Pollution of the sand of the beach by fungi that cause infections to the skin.
-Accumulation of residues to the coast and to the sea: plastic, tins, etc... These materials can cause even the death of the fished ones.
-Acoustic pollution and of the water generated by the navigation of playtime.

Don't leave rubbish in the beaches.
Deposit the garbage in the garbage's bin that they find in the beach.
Don't pollution our beaches!!

Hi Aina.
I'm going to buy Xavi a movie. I'm going to give him "The Eye".

Why don't you give him a different movie? He likes action too. I'm going to go shopping with my sister on Friday. Do you want to come with us?
Paula's going to come to the party with me! I'm going to meet her on Saturday afternoon in town.

Angelina Jolie was born 4th June 1975 in California, USA.

When she was five she acted in her first film. She went to a drama school when she was eleven.
She appeared in music videos. Her first big film was the Bone Collector in 1999.
In the same year she won an Oscar. She became famous in Lara Croft (Tomb Raider and other films).
Now Angelina is a film star. She lives in the USA with her children and she helps children's organisations.

My favourite TV programme is the Ventdelplà series,
I like Ventdelplà because the stories in the programme are great.
I also think that it's mysterious.

In the series, Teresa, is the main character.
She lives with her family in the quiet village of Ventdelplà.
She has two children, one husband and a lot of friends.
She goes to work and lives an ordinary life with her friends but she also has problems with the bad people in the village.

In my opinion, the best character is Jaume.
I like Jaume because he's interesting and funny.
He's Teresa's friend.

On Friday evening, I sometimes stay in and I do my homework. After that I meet friends.

On Saturday morning, I always go roller skating in Cornellà del Terri.
Then, in the evening, I sometimes go to the shopping center with my bests friends Aina and Mariona.
After that we go out with our friends.
We go to la Draga park.

On Sunday morning, I often get up early.
In the afternoon, I usually meet my friends and we go to see a friend. He plays basketball in Porqueres.

Then I go to the park. The boys play football and I talk with my bests friends.
I often go out on Sunday evening.
The weekends are fantastic!!!
